Welcome to our Web site, and thank you for your interest in the University of Wisconsin Colleges and the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Through these two statewide institutions, you can easily access a wide array of educational opportunities.
The UW Colleges through our 13 freshman/sophomore campuses and UW Colleges Online provide the liberal arts foundation of the bachelor's degree and prepare students for transfer to any four-year UW campus. Personal attention, small classes and modest cost are just a few of the ways we provide significant value to our students. While our campuses are small, our students have access to the resources of the entire UW System, enabling them to access a world-class education, and the best start towards a rewarding life. The quality of our academic program is further substantiated by the high rates of our students who graduate with bachelor's degrees after they transfer.
UW-Extension includes Cooperative Extension offices in 72 counties and on three tribal nations, continuing education programs delivered via the UW System campuses, a growing menu of online courses and degree programs, and 13 Small Business Development Centers. In addition, we offer the statewide broadcast networks of Wisconsin Public Radio and Wisconsin Public Television. Our federal, state and local partnerships are vital to each of these areas.
