Many freshmen go into college nervous that they won't be able to find their classes, know other students they relate to or if they'll get their professor's attention. At UW-Marinette, because classes are small, you can connect with other students and professors. It surprised me how comfortable I felt with my college choice after the first couple of days of classes. My anatomy and physiology instructor, Larissa Hogan, is my favorite. The concepts taught are difficult, but she will do almost anything to ensure you leave the classroom feeling good about the lesson. Recently I was accepted into Bellin College's of nursing program in Green Bay. I want to specialize in obstetrics, becoming a labor and delivery nurse.
