After separating from active duty Air Force, I decided to go back to school to earn my bachelor's degree. Living in Marshfield, it only made sense to enroll at UW-Marshfield/Wood County, as I would not have to travel. I also heard good things about the campus and the faculty. I was surprised to see all that the campus had to offer, whether it was for academics, sports, clubs or community activities. Of the academic programs offered, I thought the Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree would be my best choice. Looking at the future, a business degree can always help with promotions. The nice thing about the BAAS program is you can instantly apply much of what is learned to real world situations.
