I chose UW-Marinette because it met all of my college needs, and then some! I wanted a smooth transition from high school and a small college where I would readily have access to my professors for help. I wanted an affordable and quality education. As cliche as this may sound, the thing that surprised me most about the campus was how much a family UW-Marinette really is. Staff and professors want to build relationships with students, wanting students to succeed not only in their classes but in life. Jennifer Flatt, an English professor, has been incredibly influential. She has taught me the importance of critical thinking and analyzing. She also has helped develop in me a yearning for reading and made me realize the importance of continuing my personal growth and learning experiences.
