July 24, 10:00 pm - UWC campus website outage
UWC campus websites will be down tonight (July 24, 2008) at 10:00 pm for approximately 2 hours. This outage is occurring as an emergency repair for issues affecting the websites. All MS patches will be installed on the web server. While the server is being worked on tonight – students/staff can still get to the D2L log on page through the alternative link at: https://uwex.uwc.edu/d2l/
July 12, 6-11am - D2L outage
D2L will be down on Saturday, July 12th from 6-11 a.m. There will be another outage on Saturday, July 26th from 6-11 a.m. for similar work.

July 2 - blocked messaging systems (hotmail, roadrunner)
Microsoft has banned all email messages from our Exchange domain server to hotmail. There are other messaging systems, such as roadrunner, that have also blocked us. Therefore, anyone attempting to send or receive email using one of these accounts will not have emails delivered.
Updated 7/3/08 - this issue has been resolved.
June 29, 7am-Noon - Exchange server outage
The Exchange and AD servers will be down on Sunday, 6/29/08 from 7am - noon. The purpose for this outage is to install security patches and to perform other routine maintenance.
June 27, 6am-8am - Router maintenance
WiscNet will be performing some router maintenance to change primary and secondary IP routing on all UW Colleges routers. The purpose of this maintenance is to free up some IP space. All UW Colleges sites are likely to experience a 5-10 minute outage with internet connectivity while the change is being made.
This maintenance is currently scheduled for 6 am - 8 am on Friday, June 27, 2008.
June 26, Noon - Lake Street power outage
There will be a short power outage at the Lake Street building on Thursday, June 26th at noon. Backup battery units will provide the ability for the computer systems to remain up and running and we do not anticipate any problems.
June 23 - E-mail outage
The e-mail server was down on 6/22/08. This issue has been resolved, but a large number of e-mail messages are waiting in the queue. We are taking steps now to improve the situation.
