As Director of the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (OEDI) for the University of Wisconsin Colleges and University of Wisconsin-Extension, the Assistant Vice Chancellor works with two statewide institutions committed to providing maximum access to University of Wisconsin educational resources and research for the benefit of Wisconsin's residents. The incumbent will provide dynamic and creative leadership to enable the institutions to become more diverse and inclusive in their workforces, learning environments, programs, services and partnerships. The Director is responsible for providing oversight and coordination for Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity programs and compliance with federal and state laws. Working with individuals at all levels of the institutions, the Director supports the development, delivery, and communication of curricula and programs that address the interests and needs of all Wisconsin residents. The Director of the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion reports directly to the Chancellor.
