UW Extension and Green Bay Packers: The Green Bay Veterans Garden
Earlier this month UW Colleges and Extension partnered with the Green Bay Packers to begin building a Veterans’ Garden in the heart of Brown County. Veterans, UW-Extension employees, volunteers and Packer affiliates alike worked together to break ground on this special collaboration.
Regents Honor Outstanding UW System Teachers
The UW System Board of Regents will honor the 25th annual winners of its Teaching Excellence Awards on April 7 in Platteville at the next Regents meeting. These awards recognize outstanding achievements in teaching. They are the UW System’s highest recognition for members of its faculty and academic staff. The monetary value of the award is $5,000 for each recipient.

Wisconsin veterans offered free entrepreneurship training
Funding is now available for Veterans to participate in the Wisconsin SBDC Entrepreneurship Training Program. SBDC, through a partnership with Bunker Labs, will offer the training at its 14 centers statewide.
