Events and deadlines coming up at UW Colleges and UW-Extension

- Leadership Academy nominations
- Nominations for The Leadership Academy class II are due Monday, June 30, 2008. The in-depth leadership development program is designed for faculty, academic staff and classified staff working for UW-Extension and UW Colleges, as well as those with Extension appointments at other UW institutions and in Wisconsin counties.
- Through a series of eight, three-day sessions over the course of two years, participants will experience a variety of learning activities related to major policy, management and leadership issues facing outreach and higher education in Wisconsin. Participants will be responsible for completing readings, assignments and other projects that demonstrate their leadership capabilities. Academy members will participate in leadership assessment and leadership skill-building activities, give presentations on major leadership theorists, and choose to participate in a mentoring program.
- Individuals may be nominated by any UW Colleges or UW-Extension colleague or UW campus official with outreach responsibilities. Individuals may also nominate themselves.
