My professors at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County shaped my career. My time at UWMC inspired me to continue studies in criminology and law studies and philosophy at Marquette University. Marquette transferred my credits easily and UWMC gave me the foundation to be very successful at Marquette. UWMC offered small class sizes which were crucial for success in my core coursework and gave me an opportunity to continue playing basketball beyond high school. I was able to live at home and keep down the expense of college- I didn't realize how important that was until later. I was recently elected to be Marathon County's District Attorney and that is due in large part to my start at UWMC.
