I attended UW-Marathon County from 1980-1982. I found the experience tremendous. Coming out of high school it provided me with the foundation I needed to be ready for my future career. The class sizes were small, there was great support from the professors and my advisor had a handle on what classes I needed for my major. The courses were challenging, which helped me prepare for the future, including graduate school. Having the ability to live at home and attend UWMC helped me save money and I had the support of my family. I also met my future wife at UWMC. She transferred to UW-Oshkosh and I transferred to UW-Madison. I look back fondly of my UWMC days!
