"Microsoft Office Online" Help - Five Options
Microsoft Office Online has many resources available to users. This week's tip will introduce users to what the kind of help available from MS Office Online. Thanks to the Crabby Office Lady column for the ideas for this tip!

#1 - Topics and Articles
On the Help and How-to Home Page on the MS Office Online site, there are a couple options for getting help. There is the Help and How-to Search Box, located in the upper left corner of the page. Enter a question or topic and click on the yellow Search button.

Users can also search for help by product. Click on the link to All Products or Build your list and then select the product desired.

#2 - Columns and other featured content
On the MS Office site there are several different columns available. There is the Crabby Office Lady column, the Office Hours Columns, the Inside Office Online blog, and for those users who like e-newsletters, the Office Online Newsletters, which users can sign up for. Between all these columns newsletters, and the blog users are sure to find interesting and helpful information.
#3 - Training
The Microsoft Office Online site has many training courses. The are located in the Help and How-to section of MS Office Online. Click on Training, under Help Resources, located on the left navigation bar. These courses are designed to provide users with hands on experience with any Office product.

#4 - Demos
There are three types of Demos on the MS Office Online site. They include: Step-by-step, Demos that introduce new features, and Tours. Click on the link to Demos under Help Resources, located on the left navigation bar. The Demos are available by product.

Be sure to select the correct version of Office on the tabs in the Browse Demos by Product area.

#5 - RSS Feeds
For users who use RSS Feeds to gather information from web sites, MS Office Online has RSS Feeds available too. There are RSS feeds that will update users on Trainings, Columns, Blogs, and, Help and How-to by product and version. This is a nice way to gather new information since it is pushed out to users, instead of having to go find it.
